Abstract
Common cavity deformity (CCD) probably presents symptoms of balance dysfunction which performs poorly in static and dynamic balance skills, such as head control and independent walk delayed, dizziness, vertigo, and even falls. There are several balance function assessment methods, includes static balance function test, dynamic evaluation function test, computed dynamic posturography(CDP) and Bruininks-Oseretsky Test . And cochlear implantation (CI) may influence the patient’s balance function. In this chapter, we aimed to describe the assessment of balance function, research progress of evaluation for CCD patients’ balance function before and after CI surgery.
