Abstract

This chapter introduces calibration methods for the adaptive optics (AO) system. Specifically, the proportional integral (PI) algorithm based on the direct slope method is described, as well at the control principles for the Gauss–Seidel (G–S) iterative algorithm and the iterative learning control (ILC) algorithm. The influence of algorithm parameters and the correction performance of the PI and ILC are analyzed.
