Abstract

This chapter describes two main algorithms for encoding boundaries in color or indexed images. The main algorithm CORB is simple and that’s why people like to use it. The main algorithm “MakeLineList” is more complicated and brings as the result a more economical code. The chapter contains also a simple algorithm “TraceEqaution” for tracing a curve defined by means of an equation.
