Abstract

With the advantages of flexibility and simplicity of calculation, the Fourier transform method is widely used in the dynamic analysis of various engineering structures. In this chapter, the Fourier transform method is applied into dynamic analysis of the track structure under moving loads. By establishing the single-layer, double-layer and three-layer continuous elastic beam models for the track structure and deducing the vibration equation of the track structure in Fourier transform domain, the algorithm for solving the dynamic response of the track structure with the Fourier transform method are described. Based on the proposed model and the algorithm, the source program “Slab Track Dynamics Calculation Program STDYN_1.0” is developed by MATLAB mathematical tools, and is given in Appendix B. As an application example, two cases of dynamic analysis of the slab track structure of high speed railway and the track structure of mixed passenger and freight transportation are presented.
