Abstract

Health is the most important asset of life, but most people carry on with a bustling life wherein going to a specialist for week after week or even month to month test is an unthinkable errand. Additionally, the ceaseless observation of ICU patients is very difficult. Without monitoring your health it is not possible to know whether you are a healthy or sick person. This leads to the design of a system that monitors your health every day without going to a doctor. So here a system is designed as a prototype for monitoring and giving an alert based on the health of a person. This system can be used in isolation rooms, health care centers, and old age homes to record and monitor various parameters like Pulse, humidity and Temperature. These parameter values are recorded in a centralized system by using arduino. The doctor can login from a webpage with an IP address allotted to the patient, and he can check the health parameters of patients, on the same web page he can write a medical prescription to the patient for medicines. Once the doctor logout the page, patient and doctor will receive the SMS from the server, the doctor will receive SMS regarding payment, the patient will receive SMS regarding the medical prescription. Proposed system is useful for continuous health parameter monitoring and easily attaches the device and records it. This system is completely mechanized practically human assistance is required. Doctors can monitor the individual patient's health reports from anyplace through the Internet.
