Abstract

The application of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) reflectometry has become one of the focuses in microwave applications. In recent years, researchers have begun to work on the phase applications of GNSS reflected signals for deformation measurement. Compared with the pseudorange measurement, the phase measurement can obtain the precision of less than one wavelength, and the phase is more sensitive to the motion of the target. This study uses Beidou geostationary orbit (GEO)-based radar system to analyse the phase change of the reflected signal of the measured target. Further, a deformation measurement is conducted. The results show that the RMSE of the target deformation calculated by the phase difference is less than 0.5 cm.
