Sperm Quality Analyzer

Abstract

According to the former state food and drug administration, sperm quality analyzers were approved for sale in China as early as 2009. At present, the product definition of sperm quality analyzer is clear and the technology is mature. There are many medical device manufacturers producing various sperm quality analyzers to meet the demand of automatic sperm quality analysis in the laboratory. Domestic analyzers can measure sperm motility and dynamic state, and some products have a semi-automated morphological analysis module. Computer-assisted sperm analysis (CASA) for the analysis of sperm motility, concentration, and morphology has two advantages over manual methods: high accuracy and quantitative data on sperm dynamics parameters. In recent years, CASA analyzer has been developing rapidly in China, especially with the development of computer technology, high-frame rate camera, and automatic microscope, CASA analyzer has become more and more automatic, from the first generation to the second generation.
