Abstract
In the past decades, the displaced children from Myanmar have witnessed the armed conflicts between the Tatmadaw (Myanmar Army) and the ethnic armed groups on the Myanmar side of the border. This chapter has three sections. The first section evaluates the security situation of the Thai-Myanmar border, which was featured by limited governance. The second section analyzes how children have been affected by armed conflict on the Thai-Myanmar border. The last section explores the extent to which the vulnerable children would like to return Myanmar in the coming future.
