Abstract
Robot-assisted endoscopy is a newly developed minimally invasive method that has many advantages such as fine anatomy, less trauma, less bleeding, and faster recovery. It is an inevitable trend in the development of surgical methods. As robotic equipment continue to improve and surgeons become more skilled and innovative, the clinical application of robotic surgery is increasing day by day, involving more and more disciplines, types of surgery, and age groups of patients, and there is a decrease in the number of people who were considered unsuitable for robotic surgery. Thus, differences in patient conditions and general conditions involved in robotic surgery are also increasing, and the demands and challenges for anesthesia and post-resuscitation nursing after robotic surgery under general anesthesia are also increasing. Therefore, nurses in the postanesthesia care unit (PACU) must change the traditional concept of nursing, to meet the challenges and improve the quality of nursing.
