Investigation Report on the Comprehensive Advancement of Openness of Government Affairs in Beijing Municipality

Abstract

In recent years, the Government of Beijing Municipality has implemented the requirements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on comprehensively advancing the work of openness of government affairs, made new innovations and breakthroughs, adhered to the principle of providing benefits and convenience to the people, constructed five working systems of openness of government affairs covering organizational management, information disclosure, policy interpretation, interactive participation, and channels and platforms, and achieved positive results in the exploration and development of such good practices as management of lists of openness of government affairs, dialogue between citizens and the top leadership of the municipal government, maps for the benefit and convenience of the people, a series of open day of government affairs, standardization of information disclosure upon application, comprehensive interpretation of government work reports, the openness of decision-making, and convenient electronic bulletin.
