Abstract
The bias blind spot is interesting and unavoidably ubiquitous. It is described as the ability of noting the effects of biases on the perceptions and reasoning of other clinicians while not recognizing the effects of biases from multiple sources on our own personal judgement [1]. Most biases are predominantly unconscious in origin, although it is possible to have deliberate and conscious prejudice in clinical reasoning, and life. Blind spot bias is a deeply unconscious bias held by all but the extreme minority of the population [2].
