Abstract
Soft tissue tumors are mostly derived from mesenchymal tissue, which refer to tumors that occur from fibers, fat, smooth muscle, blood vessels, lymphatic vessels, and so on. This kind of tumor often occurs in the extremities, trunk and abdominal cavity, and rarely occurs in the mediastinum. Mediastinal soft tissue tumors are generally divided into adipose tumors (thymic lipoma, lipoma, liposarcoma), solitary fibrous tumor, synovial sarcoma, and vascular tumor (lymphangioma, hemangioma, epithelioid hemangioendothelioma, angiosarcoma). Soft tissue tumors lack specific manifestations. Therefore, it is necessary to make accurate diagnosis and treatment combined with clinical, imaging, and pathological data.
