Abstract

SAR calibration is used to establish the exact relationship between image intensity and ground backscattering coefficient, which is the key to realize quantitative remote sensing of SAR. In order to fully utilize the information contained in multi-channel multi-polarization data, quantitatively analyzing the correlation between different channels and different polarizations is needed, so that different polarimetric SAR images truly reflect the dependence of the target response on the polarization state of the electromagnetic wave, that is, the multi-channel multi-polarization calibration is required.
