Abstract

Vasoproliferative retinal tumor is a benign vascular retinal peripheral tumor seen commonly in inferotemporal quadrant. They are classified as primary and secondary. They are known to have unilateral and solitary presentation. Clinically, they appear yellowish to pinkish in color with lack of dilated and tortuous feeder vessels. Ancillary investigations are not needed to diagnose this condition since it is primarily a clinical diagnosis. Various treatment options ranging from observation, medical and vitreoretinal surgical interventions are available.
