Abstract
Starting with the “Beijing Consensus” at the beginning of this century, the theory of the “China model” gradually developed and took shape. This theory puts forward a question of great importance for both understanding the past and planning for the future, which is why it is worth studying and discussing seriously.
This is a preface written by the author on September 24, 2011 for Rethinking the China Model (Social Sciences Literature Press, November 2011 Edition). There are some abridgements in this reprint.
