Abstract

In his talk just now, Director Li Yizhong raised two important issues: first, we should reverse emphasizing the virtual economy and ignoring the “real economy”; second, we should attach great importance to the development of industry.

This paper is based on the author’s comments on the keynote speech by Li Yizhong, deputy director of the finance and economics committee for the National People’s Congress, at the Caixin Summit of November 11, 2011.
