Percolation Law of Natural Gas

Abstract

Natural gas is as same as oil, it is also a kind of important energy resource which will occupy more and more proportion in the structure of world fuel. Compared with oil, natural gas is clearer and will cause less pollution. With the development of economy and the improvement in the living conditions of people in China, the need for natural gas also increases continuously. The petroliferous basins in china have the regional geologic conditions for the formation of large gas fields. Especially after 1980s, with the strategic westward transference of the oil industry in China and the further exploration and development in western region, the exploration of natural gas has obtained an amazing breakthrough. In the Shaan-Gan-Ning region, the world-class big gas fields have been found and big gas fields are also found in Talimu and Sichuan. The knowledge about the percolation of natural gas will be introduced in this chapter.
