The Members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (hereinafter referred to as Contracting Parties); Recognising the importance of facilitating inter-state transport of goods to support greater trade and bring about closer economic integration; Noting that nations in the region have taken steps bilaterally and multilaterally to facilitate inter-state transport.
