Abstract

To prevent the illegal copying and sharing of digital content, the need for security for digital data is highly demanded. Among various available techniques, digital watermarking is an effective solution to protect confidential data. This paper presents the performance analysis of color image watermarking based on lifting scheme in which color image watermark has been used. Peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR), Structural similarity (SSIM) index and normalized correlation coefficient (NCC), etc. have been used as fidelity parameters to test the effectiveness of presented work both quantitatively and qualitatively.
