Abstract
This paper studies the tourism products development advantages and trends in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The tourism economic development of the area is described. The characteristics and advantages of this specific areas in tourism development are summarized. They include the policy advantages, efficient multi-dimensional transportation system, rich tourism resource, fast passenger entry and exit, etc. Typical tourism products are identified in the area such as urban sightseeing products, coastal and rural leisure tourism products etc. The paper reports the acceleration the emergence of high-end tourism products and so called “intelligent tourism product” in this area along the “smart tourism bell” supported by high-tech and other scientific technological resources in this area.
