Abstract
The beauty of being an ophthalmologist is that they are really physicians who operate. Only about 10–20% of patients who come to a general eye outpatient clinic will need any surgery. Since many a systemic diseases have eye manifestations an Ophthalmologist should not be found wanting in doing a basic general examination.
