Abstract
Pulmonary stenosis (PS) accounts for about 8–10% of congenital heart disease (CHD), and is the fourth most common CHD. This chapter introduces how to perform PAN procedure for pulmonary valvuloplasty through the femoral vein. Balloon size and balloon length should be carefully selected before operation. Before inflation, the balloon should be adjusted in the center of pulmonary valve annulus with echocardiography guidance, in order to keep the distal end away from the tricuspid valve to avoid damage. During inflation, the filling pressure of the balloon and inflation time should be prudently decided to achieve therapeutic purposes in the shortest hypotension time.
