Abstract

With the rapidly increasing power demand with renewable energy, the control is also equally important to be considered. The VSI, when interfaced with grid, is to be controlled for different disturbances. The current-controlled technique is discussed with two controllers. The PR controller is helping to remove the steady-state error, and the fuzzy has the advantage of updated PI parameter. At the same time, THD is compared in terms of harmonic percentages with different controllers. The work is simulated in MATLAB/Simulink, and it is found that the fuzzy is giving better response as compared to PR regulator.
