Abstract
Agriculture is the most versatile occupation widely practiced across the globe. We live in a digital era where cutting edge technologies such as robotics and Internet of Things have a prominent place in today’s agricultural evolution. Modernized systems are preferred over conventional systems which significantly reduce manpower and increase the efficiency of farming. This project aims to propose a wireless system that can perform major farming tasks that are labour intensive such as ploughing, seeding, levelling and watering using LPC2148 ARM controller. Agribot is an eco-friendly agricultural robot which is compact, portable and harnesses solar energy to perform tasks.
