Intraocular Tumors

Abstract

Counselling a patient and family members about choroidal melanoma is an essential arm of management. The diagnosis, survey for metastatic disease, staging, evidence-based treatment options, local with systemic outcomes and subsequent follow up visits need to be discussed. This chapter outlines the diagnosis, choice of treatment, special considerations, recommended systemic surveys and role of genetic counselling.
