Abstract
This chapter discusses the educational status of the de-notified tribes of the both Telugu-speaking states. It examines the school and college going children aged between 6 and 23 years, that is, primary to graduate/post graduate students were taken from de-notified households. It presents enrollment rates, attendance ratio, type of school, medium of instruction, distance of school from home, mode of attending school, dropout rates, reasons for dropout and whether their children receiving any benefit from the government welfare initiatives.
