Abstract
Larynx is anatomically divided into three subsites: supraglottis, glottis, and subglottis. Glottic carcinoma is most common followed by supraglottic. Subglottis carcinoma is rare. Management of laryngeal cancer also involves organ-function preserving using multi-disciplinary management. Principle of management is to use single modality in early stage. Multimodality approach is used in advanced stage disease with combination of radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and surgery in different sequence to achieve tumor control as well as a good functional outcome. This chapter describes the workup treatment and radiation planning in a patient with laryngeal cancer.
