Abstract
Carcinoma cervix is the second most common cancer among females in India and its incidence is gradually decreasing. The decreasing incidence is contributed by screening and further reduction is expected with the introduction of HPV vaccines. The patients with carcinoma cervix are usually diagnosed at an advanced stage unlike carcinoma endometrium as they present in perimenopausal females. This chapter aims in summarising the clinical evaluation and investigating a patient with carcinoma cervix. A summary on treatment planning and practical radiotherapy planning is also discussed.
