Construction of Chinese Agricultural Science and Technology Cloud

Abstract

The agricultural science and technology cloud of is an important project in Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) informatization planning from 2015 to 2017. The cloud aims at realizing the integration of network, computing, storage and application of scattered in various scientific research resources, and enhance the ability of innovation of science and technology of CAAS. This chapter presents the ideas and techniques of construction of the cloud, introduces the scheme of network, virtualization, storage and backup, security. Finally, the future development direction of the cloud is discussed briefly.
