Abstract

This chapter involves clarifying the context of the research on faculty development at Chinese universities and colleges. The study on faculty development is subjected to a systematic and in-depth study of the nature and internal logic of the development of faculty member in contemporary China. Specifically, the term faculty development is considered as an important academic and scientific research profession. In addition, the study on faculty development is conducive to promoting the overall comprehensive development of universities and colleges in Chinese context.
