Abstract
This chapter outlines the governmental quality assurance procedure of the German higher education system. It shows how to get admission to German- and English-taught degree programs at private universities in Germany. The reader learns about available degree and certificate programs, as well as study formats and locations. Various real-life testimonials from students, professors and administrators help the reader gain a clear understanding of the requirements to study at a private university in Germany. The chapter further showcases the benefits of a career-focused education for students’ future work life and informs about options to remain in Germany for work after graduation.
