Abstract
It is not easy to develop fonts for individual syllables because the scientific principles of Hunminjeongeum generate a huge number of syllables. So we need to develop syllable fonts combined with three phonemic glyphs. Here, the development of glyphs according to each syllable structure is also a great effort, so we think that it is important to reduce their number using structural properties of syllables and factor font drawing. Therefore, this paper aims to evaluate the reduction method of glyph number and its efficiency.
