Research on the Method of Solving Danger Level of Cascading Trips in Power System

Abstract

A new method for calculating danger distance of cascading trips is proposed in this paper. The method is based on enhanced particle swarm optimization. An example on IEEE 39-system proves the effectiveness of the method.
