Abstract

In this chapter, general aspects of mesoporous materials and PMOs are briefly described. In particular, what are the typical technological advantages of PMOs over general mesoporous materials are discussed. They include how the mesoporous materials and/or PMOs are synthesized and what are important factors to govern their morphology and physico-chemical properties.
