Abstract
In those days, entering high school from Shōnan Gakuen meant that the wealthy students went to Keiō Gijuku High School, and the students from middle class income families with decent grades chose the prefectural public Shōnan High School. I had no doubt that I could get into Shōnan High School. This was because the selection could be done with just a transcript from middle school.
