Experimental Techniques in Host-Plant Resistance

Abstract

Workers often screen crop germplasms based on one or more than one parameters. It is necessary that appropriate parameters are compared for efficacy and efficiency before the screening technique is standardized. An appropriate parameter will facilitate in locating a promising cultivar. Described in this chapter are four case studies involving insects with chewing and sucking mouthparts.
