Abstract

A 66-year-old female presented with an anterior neck mass measuring 10 cm in diameter and hoarseness. She had noticed the mass 9 months ago, and it had been increasing in size. Palpation demonstrated that it was smooth, lobulated, and elastic-hard. Cystic papillary carcinoma was suspected based on the lesion’s ultrasound (US), computed tomography (CT), and fine-needle aspiration biopsy (FNA) findings. Total thyroidectomy and lymph node dissection were performed.
