Abstract
In this paper, a comparative study has been carried out to study the effect of a single toxicant on a biological species. The comparison study is based on two cases, in the first case, the toxicant is being constantly emitted in the environment from some external sources and in the second case, the toxicant is assumed to be discharged in the environment by the biological species itself. In both cases, we have considered a situation that aftereffect of this toxicant, some members of biological species show deformity as incapable in reproduction. This comparative study shows that toxicant is lethal in both cases. But toxicant affects more severe and fast when emitted by biological species itself.
