Abstract
The microstructure and texture of hot rolled plate and finished product of Fe–3%Si common grain-oriented silicon steel were studied by means of optical microscope (OM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The results showed that the surface of the hot rolled plate was recrystallization structure, the center was non-recrystallized fiber structure, and the subsurface was mixture structure of the recrystallization and fiber structure. The surface of the hot rolled plate was mainly Goss texture {110}<001>, and the content of Goss texture reached 5.66%, and the strength of Goss texture was 3 times random. The complementary textures were {112}<111> and {100}<011>; the finished product was complete secondary recrystallization structure in the condition of grain size of 6.4–8.5 mm, and the texture was single Goss texture of {110}<001>.
