Abstract
In March 2015, while speaking at Bo’ao Forum for Asia, President Xi Jinping said, the Belt and Road initiative is not meant as rhetoric. It represents real work that could be seen and felt to bring real benefits to countries in the region. The Belt and Road Initiative focuses on the construction of transportation infrastructure, and, according to the actual demand of countries along the routes, connects China’s development strategy to that of our Asian and European neighbors.
