Abstract
MANETs are highly appealing for a lot of applications such as deep space communication, disaster relief, battlefield communication, outdoor mining, due to their flexibility and distributed nature. To offer Quality of Service (QoS) for these applications, understanding the fundamental delay performance of such networks is of great importance (Hanzoll, Tafazolli (2007). IEEE Commun. Surv. Tutor. 9(2), 50–70.) [37].
