Abstract
Conceptual frameworks that describe the concept of satisfaction on the timeline were analyze. Because the satisfaction can be considered as the same with the notion of utility in economics, we included the theory of Bentham and Kahneman for comparison. Based on the critical consideration, it shows that it is not easy to explain or predict the current satisfaction for the daily use of artifacts that have multi-dimensional attributes. Furthermore, the satisfaction related to the level of needs on the side of users and some other external factors that were unexpected at the beginning of use. Hence, the qualitative analysis thought to be important to clarify the satisfaction mechanism.
