Abstract
In the previous chapters, we discussed the molecular, biophysical, and physiological roles of mechanotransduction (MET) in auditory hair cells and cochlear function, in addition to a minimal but necessary background on anatomy and history of cochlea study. As the final summary in this chapter, we will extend our discussion to open questions and current dilemma still in debate when summarizing consensus we have had.
