Abstract

The State of Manipur, the ‘Jeweled Land, is susceptible to disasters like earthquakes, landslides, floods, torrential rains, fire and accidents, which have over a period of time exposed the vulnerable economic, social, political, administrative profile of the state posing question on the disaster management system.
