China’s Economic Performance in the First Half of 2017

Abstract

In the first half of 2017, the Chinese economy went stronger than expected. The real GDP grew by 6.9% in the first and second quarter, respectively. The overall employment was in good condition. An additional 7.35 million urban jobs were created, 0.18 million jobs more than that in the same period last year.
