Abstract

The automobile industry is a strategic industry with intensive production factors, remarkable economies of scale, high degree of industrial correlation, and intensive capital and technology. It possesses the industrial characteristics of cluster development. With 60 years of development, China’s automobile industry pattern has taken shape, but compared with the foreign mature automobile industry clusters, the gap is still obvious, and there is an urgent need for industrial transformation and upgrading. Based on the analysis of the basic pattern and present situation of China’s automobile industry cluster and the main problems of industrial upgrading of automobile industry cluster in China, the thesis puts forward the development strategy of transformation and upgrading of China’s automobile industry cluster.
