Abstract

SiO x /TiO y /C z H t composite coatings were deposited on papers by magnetron co-sputtering. Influences of RF power on structures and properties of coatings were investigated. The result from SEM applied to investigate the microstructure showed that coatings could be prepared with good capillary structure as suitable input powers, which helped to get a good printability for papers. Raman test results showed that different input power ratios could be applied to deposit coatings with modifiable inorganic and organic components.
