Abstract
It is well established that the infiltration of the portal or superior mesenteric vein is not a contraindication for resection in pancreatic adenocarcinoma patients. The manuscript describes the surgical technique, limitations, and reconstructive options at a tertiary center with high expertise in pancreatic cancer surgery.
