Abstract

The impact of the phenomenon of climate change and sea level rise to the provinces in the central littoral region of Vietnam is going on clearer every day, whereby the solid waste treatment plants become one of the factors which caused serious ecological environmental pollutants. In particular, in this context, most of the provinces in the central littoral region have made the planning of solid waste management. But in fact, the local is still difficulty in preparing the “Report action plan to respond to climate change in the province”. Therefore, the paper offers the results of studies identifying, assessing the impact of climate change and sea level rise for the landfill system, the treatment plants in the central littoral region. It is a factual basis to assist the work of the proposed plan of action in solid waste management activities in the province to cope with climate change, and rising sea levels are appropriate and effective.
