Abstract

This chapter draws the whole study to an end by offering a synthesis of the answers found to the four research questions, discussing the research findings with reference to previous studies, and proposing a tentative exploratory model for foreign language teacher cognition and practices, followed by two sub-sections evaluating the effectiveness of the classroom teaching in the Danyang Project and the factors conducive to the uptake of innovation.
